Purdie, an Aucklander who has been on service with the Australian Licht Horse, arrived from Sydney by the Mabeno yesterday. Mr. Purdie left Aucklr.nd some 10 years aeo md. joining the Australian forces at, the commencement of the war. served through J?e Sinai and Palestine campaigns.
