LAST SHOTS IN WAR.
MONUMENT AT HERCHIES. LONDON. Oct. 12. Renter's correspondent in Mons states that there was an imposing ceremony at the unveiling of a monument, erected by the inhabitants in honour of the British armies, at Herchies, north-west of Moris, -where the. last shots of the -war were fired on November 11, 1918. British and French military leaders attended.
