SCULLING CHAMPIONSHIP.
RIVALS IN TRAINING. FELTON GAINS FAVOUR. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 10 p.m.) LONDON. Oct. 17. Felton, the Sydney sculler, who is challenging Barry for the sculling championship of the world, is so advanced in his training that he has been able to take a four-days' rest at Margate. He is now thoroughly accustomed to his new boat, and is gaining friends daily. The odds of 6 to 4 against Felton have been shortening during the past few days. Barry has trained within two pounds of his weight when he beat Paddon in 1914. He considers himself nearly fit. The final deposit of £200 a-side will be made on Monday, when Felton will nominate the umpire.
