LATE MRS. C. M. NELSON.
MEMORIAL SERVICE.
A special memorial service for the late Mrs. C. M. Nelson wag held at St. Paul's Church last evening. The service, which was largely attended, included special hymns and psalms, and an address bv the Rev. W. H." Wilson, vicar of St. Heliers parish. Taking for his sermon the text " What she hath done shall be held as a memorial of her," the preacher paid an eloquent tribute to the life of service led by Mrs. Nelson. As an active worker in many benevolent institutions she had rendered to the community valuable and self-sacrificing service, which would long be remembered, while her devotion to parish work a a member of St. Paul's Church choir and Mothers' Union, and as organiser of practically every church activity, she had also won for ner the affectionate remembrance of all parishioners. Chopin's Funeral March was played by the organist at the conclusion of the service.
