OWN CoaaESPONDENT.] ■ HAMILTON, Friday. j The- possible danger of the new saleyarca at; Frankton to the butter factory, which the Waikato (Jo-operative Dairy Company proposes to convert to the purpose of manufacturing dried milk, has already been the causfl of considerable contwviirsy between the two companies. A meeting of suppliers, convened by Mr. W. G. Goodfellow, managing director of the Waikato Dairy Company, was h»ld at Frankton yesterday to consider the advisibility of proceeding with the conversion of the factory, which will probably cost about £30.000. Mr. Ooodfallow said the company was ' prepared to go on with the work, but he desired first to place the l.icts before the suppliers. If the sale \nHs were model ones and kept, perfectly sanitary there would be no difficulty, hut i! they were not kept in thai condition there would be a serious danger. Mr. J. D. Duxfield said Dr. Frengley, a medical expert, had given the opinion that the proximity of the saleyards would not, in anv way bo detrimental to the factory. Other speakers favoured the erection of the factory on the site proposed.
