SERIOUS CHARGE.

ACCUSED SENT FOR TRIAL. [BY telegraph.— press association] DUNEDIN. Friday. In the Police Court to-day, James Revnolds Hayne (chemist), Elizabeth Simpson Liglis, and Norman Neylo-', were charged that on or about Sept-ember 15 they did illegally use an instrument with intent to procure a miscarriage. Evidence was given for the Crown by 10 witnesses, after which the accused -eserved their defence, and were committed for trial.
