Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Auckland City Council thereinafter called " the Body Corporate .to apply to His Excellency the Governor-in-Council tor an Order-in-Council, under the provisions of the Tramways Act, 1006, and it 3 Amendments (unless forbidden by tho Ratepayers . in manner prescribed by the said Act), to authorise the Exteasicn of the Tramways known as >.he Auckland City Electric Tramways, L.y the construction of a tra uway Irom the junction of Anza-c Avenue with Beach Koad, along Ansa* Avenue and . The particulars of tho proposed undertaking are as follows: — (a)—A description of the proposed works ia: The construction of a tramway from the junction of Ansae Avenue -vith Beach Boa*!, alons? Anzac Avenue -and Symonds Street, to the terminus of the present tramway at St. Andrew s Church, in Symonds Street ; the tramway to be worked by applied ciectnc power by means of the overhead trolley system, in the same manner -3 the present tramways in the City of Auckland.
