NORTH SHORE METHODISTS.
DIVISION OF THE CIRCUIT. The quarterly meeting of the North Shore Methodist Church was held the other eve/ling. The Rev. W. J. Elliott presided over a good attendance. The membership and Sunday-school returns, which were of a satisfactory nature, were adopted A proposal for a removal expenses fund was received iron* the Conference Committee. The meeting decided to adhere to the present majority vote required in invitations to ministers beyond a fifth year. Invitations for a fifth and second year respectively were extended to the Rev. W". J. Elliott and T. R. R. Woolloxall. These «*ere accepted subject t" the approval of conference. It Wiit. resolved to divide the circuit, and corm'citute two separate circuits, Takapuna to be the head of the new one. Two local preachers, Messrs. F. Myers and T. A. Gibson, were welcomed by the chairman. j Mi'.-.ti, K. R. Jones, A. W. Parker, and (''. V. Pearce were elected representatives to the animal synod in November. The auditors. Masrs. L. Jones and A. W. Parker, were reappointed.
