I It. was resolved to carry out formation work on Wharf Road at an estimated coet j of £60. Considerable discussion took place regaxdina the question of concrete versus tar macadam roads. The matter arose through Mr. Morgan inquiring when the experiment of placing a couple of chains of concretinc on the existing formation on the Great North Road" was to be made. This elicited th« reply that the work would be put in hand as soon as the weather was suitable for diverting the traffic to the aides.
