KING'S EMPIRE VETERANS.

Trie quarterly meeting of the committee of the King's Empire Veterans was held on Wednesday. It was reported that nine members had died and two had been, elected during the quarter. Arrangements will be made for the usual picnic in December. Mr. W. Johns and Mr. S I/a Trobe were elected members of the committe. Sympathetic, references were made by several members to the great loss the veterans had sustained on the death of the late commanding officer, Colonel R. B. Morrow.
