CHEMIST IN COURT.
ALLEGED ILLEGAL OPERATION. [BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, Saturday. James Reynolds Hayne, chemist, of Dunedin, appeared before the Police Court to-day, charged that, with intent to procure miscarriage, he unlawfully used an instrument. For the prosecution it was stated that a young woman who is now at Waimate was in a dangerous state. Ac- j cused was remanded to appear at Waimate on Monday. Elizabeth Simpson Lnglis, an employes of J. R. Hayne, was arrested later in th* day on a similar charge, brought before . the Court, and remanded to Waimate, - J
