PROFITEERING IN WOOL
BOARD OF TRADE INQUIRY. Renter. LONDON. Sept. 25. The prices charged for wool in all categories have occupied the attention of Sir Auckland Geddes, President of the Board of Trade, for some time. It has been ascertained that the average profit to vendors has ranged from 300 to 400 per cent. The attention of the Profiteering Department has been directed to the matter.
