NEEDS OF HAMILTON.
NEW TRAFFIC BRIDGE. [BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON, Friday A conference was held yesterday with the object of considering the matter of the erection of another traffic bridge at the northern end of the town. Mr. E. H. Hammond {Farmers' Union) presided. Members of the various local bodies interested were also present. - The chairman explained the object of the meeting. He said that though the Borough Council had placed an extra man on the bridge to assist in regulating the traffic on sale days this wae not adequate In view of the daily increasing traffic, the present bridge was not sufficient' fo»the traffic. There was no doubt that th» bridge would have to be erected eventually, and it was desirable that they should all work together. After discussion, it was resolved that the committees appointed by the Chamber of Commerce. Farmers' Union, and Waipa and Waikato County councils meet the Hamilton Borough Council with the object of erecting a bridge,
