COMMONWEALTH PEACE LOAN £5,000,000 MORE REQUIRED. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, Sept. 25. Subscriptions to the Commonwealth Peace Loan total £20.000,000, which is £5.000.000 short of the amount required. The time for subscription has been extended to October 7, after which compulsion will be applied.
