ROYALTIES FOR ARTISTS.
FRANCE ADOPTS PRINCIPLE. A. and N.Z. PARIS. Sept. 25. The. Chamber of Deputies unanimously adopted a Bill giving artists a royalty of 1 to 3 per cent, on the auction prices of their works, payable during their lifetime and to their heirs for 50 years after death.
