PLOT TO OVERTHROW SOVIET

DISCOVERED BY BOLSHEVIKS. VENGEANCE ON LEADERS. A. and N.Z. LONDON, Sept. 23. The Moscow All-Russian Commission discovered an anti-Soviet organisation called the National Centre, with widespread ramifications, chiefly composed of members of the old Cadet party, also a few Moderate Monarchists and Mensheviks. Documents were found proving that the Centre had been in communication with General Denikin. The commission executed 66 persons, including M. Stehepkin, an ex-member of the Duma, who was chairman of the National Centre, Professor Astrakoff and Professor Volkoff, Prince Obolensky, and two generals. Those awaiting trial include Prince Andronikoff, who is alleged to be one of Rasputin's accomplices, and M. Rozamoff. The latter is a Menshevik leader.
