MARRIED WOMAN'S DEATH.

FATALITY AT MOUNT EDEN, BODY FOUND BY HUSBAND. A married woman, Mrs. Nan McCoy aged 45, was found dead in her house in fiaslett Street, Mount Eden, yesterdav. Neighbours heard her screaming during the morning, but took no notice, as they had heard her on previous occasions. When her husband, Mr. Edward McCov a wharf labourer, returned from work about 11.15 a.m., he found his wife lying on the floor dead, with gas tubing near her mouth and the gas turned on. Mrs. McCoy had returned recently from a visit to her mother in America, and had been in ill-health for some time. An inquest will be held to-day.
