The Dunedin-owned barque Antiope arrived at Suva on September 14 after a passage of 14 days from Wellington She is Toiding a cargo of copra for London. The steamer Boorara,-which was built in Germany in 1918, is now equipped with British-built engines. Her original machinery supplied by Bremen Vulken Vogesack. was damaged on the occasion of the torpedoing of the vessel off the British Coast last year ine Boorara is said to have been twice torpedoed, once off Genoa, and once off Southampton.

The departure of the Island steamer lalune from Auckland for Fiji, Samoa, and tonga has been postponed until October 10. The Katoa was expected to leave Wellington for Auckland at 10 p.m. yesterday with a part cargo of coal from Westport. She is due here on Saturday. ls

The Wanaka is expected to complete discharge of her cargo of Newcastle coal today and to sail this afternoon for Newcastle to load another cargo for a port not announced.

The Union Company's cargo steamer Whangape is to go into dock for cleaning and painting after she completes discharge at the King Wharf.

The barquentine Laura, which has been anchored in the stream awaiting orders, is to load a- cargo of timber here for Australia.

„,T h ? Auckland-owned schooner Northern Chief sailed yesterday morning for Hokianga to load a cargo of timber for Kopu. The Union Company's new steamer Waifcemata. which is discharging Eastern cargo at the King's Wharf is to sail to-night for VVel ington and Southern ports to complete aischarge.

The Kakapo completed discharge of her produce cargo from Timuru yesterday evening, and sailed for Whan&-arei to load cement for Wellington.

THE COEINTHIC. „ The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Corinthic is due this afternoon from Wellington to commence loading for England. Sne will berth at the Queen's Wharf. L. D. Nathan and Co., Ltd., are the agents. PORT ALBANY FOR LONDON. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Albany, which was loaded in Australia and came to Auckland for bunker coal, sailed for London yesterday afternoon. THE MONOWAI. The Monowai left Lyttelton for Auckland direct at 10 p.m. on Tuesday. She is due here to-morrow morning. THE MOERAKI. The Union Company's inter-colonial passenger steamer Moeraki, which is timed to leave Lyttelton for Auckland on Saturday, and Auckland for Sydney on October 1, is to make a second trip from Auckland to Syd-. ney, leaving Auckland about October 15.
