The train restrictions have interfered to a certain extent with the number of entries, but nevertheless there is a. sufficient number to provide interesting games. The links are in first-class order. To-morrow 18-hole medal handicaps will be played in the morning and afternoon, and the South Auckland district championship will be decided on the

best aggregate of the two medal rounds without the handicaps, and the first 16 in the morning round will qualify for the South \ Auckland championship.
