The Auckland I'dueatioii Board met yesterday morning, when the following men hers wen- present : Mr. K. ('. Banks, chairman. Mi- V. I'.. Baume. Messrs. .1. S. Bond, A. 15.0n.-. .1. 1!. Penning. O. W. Murray, and .1. I). McKenzie. A memorandum was received from the Canterbury Board, stating that tin- ( - feieuce of hoard architects had been postpone'! until train restrictions were definitely removed, and that the Auckland Board'c- .-uggestion for the conference to tie postponed until early next year would receive consideration. The following -ranis for the election and enlargement of school buildings were notified bv the Department : —Epsom. £795; Henderson Vall-v. £'),,.; Mancere. £785: N.-thertoii, £626 ; Ilauturu. £256: Pakaraka, £549 : Waipu Centra! £573.
