GERMAN RECRIMINATIONS.
ATTACK ON ERZEBERGER.
LONDON, Aug. 20.
Reuter's correspondent at Berlin states that Dr. Helfferich, former ViceChancellor and Foreign Minister, has written to President Ebert of Germany accusing Herr Erzeberger of corruption, and saying that he is a most unsuitable man for the high post of Minister for Finance.
Helfferich declares that he has waited vainly for Erzeberger to sue him for defamation.
Reuter's correspondent at Weimar states that the Ministry for Justice is examining evidence with a view to the prosecution of Helfferich on a charge of libelling Erzeberger.
