MAN FATALLY INJURED.

FOOT CAUGHT IN MACHINERY.

A fatal accident occurred at Wilson's cement works at Warkworth on Thursday last, resulting in the death of Mr. J. Copestake. shaft foreman. While attending to part of the machinery he slipped and was caught by the foot in some heavv revolving Tollers. Before the machinery could be stopped his leg had been drawn in and severely crushed. He died a few hours later. Deceased was a married man and leaves a widow and two children.
