ACCIDENT AT WHANGARES. MAN FALLS FROM PLATFORM. [BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WHANGAREI. Monday. A man named W. Ladkin, working on a platform at the Whangarei electric substation, met with a serious accident this afternoon.. He accidentally touched a part of the live plant, from which he received a severe electric shock, and fell to the concrete floor, a distance of some ten feet. He was badly injured about the head by the fall, and was removed to the hospital. Ladkin has recovered consciousness, snd is doing well-
