NOTES' AND COMMENTS. -■n 1 "?. New Zealand Power-boat Association will hold its annual meeting and distribution of prizes in the club-house, Mechanics' .Bay, to-morrow evening. The Tonsonby Yacht and Launch Cruising Club s annual meeting will take place in the club-house to-morrow evening. The bal-ance-sheet shows that the club is in a sound financial/ position. During the year £73 7b 6d was paid in cash prizes, while trophies to the value of £57 were also donated. The sum of £60 was expended in redeeming debentures, and after writing off £'2& for depreciation the club has a cash balance of £57 4s 3d. The surplus of assets over liablities is £450, including £332 10s in the club-house and £44 furniture and piano. The keel yacht Victory is undergoing an extensive overhaul, and will take the water in first-class order. A new cabin top has been fitted and the aperture in the rudder libs been filled up. the engine having been taken out and sold. •
