RACE SUICIDE DENOUNCED.

THE TWO-CHILD FAMILY. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 10 Dm.) SYDNEY, Sept. 3. At a Board of Trade inquiry which is endeavouring to fix a living wage, Father O'Reilly vigorously denounced race suicide, for which he blamed those women who would not allow the bringing up of a family to interfere with their social obligations. Dr. Arthur said that the two-child family meant national suicide. Other witnesses stated that the families of industrial workers were much larger than those in better circumstances.
