BRITISH DESTROYER SUNK.
TORPEDOED IN THE BALTIC. EIGHT OF CREW DROWNED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 11.30 p.m.) LONDON, Sept 2. The Admiralty announces that the British destroyer Vittoria was torpedoed and sunk in the Baltic on August 30. Eight of the crew were drowned.
