QUESTION OF OBSERVANCE.

WELLINGTON, Tuesday.
The sharp diecussjon which arose over the partial holiday observed last Anzac Day found an echo in the House of Representatives this afternoon, when Mr. W. i. Jennings (Taumaranui) gave notice of a question to the Minister for Defence on the subject. Mr. Jennings asks whether the Minister will take steps to have legislation placed on the Statute Book providing for the proper observance of the day.
