WOMEN'S NATIONAL RESERVE.
The annual meeting of the honorary division of the Women's National Reserve was held at Mrs. F. Fitchett's residence, Mount Hofason Road, Remuera.. The following officers were re-elected:—Presi-dent, Mrs. F. Fitchett ; vice-Dresidents, Mesdames Averill, Napier, Toll, C. A. Whitney and Nelson ; hon. organiser, Mrs. F. A. Hansard; hon. secretary, Mrs. W. McGarry; hon. treasurer, Mrs. Mcffitt ; badge secretary, Miss Scott. The work proposed to be undertaken was as follows :— Members of the div : siori to interest themselves in needy cases of mothers, widows, and orphans of soldiers and sailors who have made the supreme sacrifice; to discriminate and discover cases which need their special care ; to raise funds by organising entertainments to give this assistance.
