TRIAL OF VON SANDERS.
PRISONER ON WARSHIP.
COMPLICITY IN MASSACRES. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed 10 D.m.) ROME, Aug. 29. General von Sanders, the former German commander in Palestine, is a prisoner aboard a British warship which has arrived at Venice. He is to be tried for responsiblity for massacres and atrocities, the victims of which were chiefly Armenians.
