PEACE WITH AUSTRIA.

TERMS ON TUESDAY. EAST EUROPEAN BLOC. ITALY AND FRENCH AIMS. By Telegraph—Press Association — (Received 9 p.m.) A. and N.Z. LONDON, Aug. SO. .The Supreme Council has decided to hand the peace treaty with Austria to the Austrian delegates on Tuesday. A message from Rome states that the delay in concluding peace with Austria is causing widespread dissatisfaction in Italy. The public opinion attributes the delay to alleged intrigues by France to form a new confederation of the Danube States, with Austria, Bohemia, Hungary, Jugoslavia, and possibly R-ou-mania, Bulgaria, and Poland, as a counterpoise to German expansion.
