NEW SOUTH WALES FAILURE. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, Aug. 28. The autumn and -winter lambing seasons proved largely a failure over the greater part 'of the State, owing to the drought. In the autumn six and a-half million ewes were mated, but they dropped only 4,120,000 lambs, representing 63 per cent., while the survivals for marking numbered only 47 per cent.
