AUSTRALIA HOUSE.

.©, ECONOMIES PROJECTED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5 p.m.) LONDON. Aug. 27. Considerable reductions are being made in the expenditure at Australia House, mainly along impersonal lines. The war has necessitated some increase in the personnel of Ihe temporary staff. 'The services of most of these will be dispensed with, but the amount of saving that will be effected under this head will only account for about three-tenths of the savings contemplated. The balance.will probably be effected in regard to such items as exhibitions of Australian resources.
