The ballot for sections in the Tiratu soldiers' settlement was completed at Dannevirke to-day, taking nearly seven hours, owing to the large number of candidates. The luck of the ballot was exemplified in the ease.of two brothers coming from Pahiatoa, who drew consecutively the winning marbles and won sections alongside each other. .
