Professor Owen has received an appointment at Aberystwyth University, Wales. Dr. R. H. Makgill. Acting-Chief Health Officer, intends to leave for Wellington this morning, via Cambridge and Rotorua. During the time he is relieving the Chief Health! Officer, Dr. T. H. A. Valintine. while the latter is absent on leave, he will spend a portion of his time in Wellington, reserving the other portion for his duties as District Health Officer for Auckland.
