FAMINE AT WANGANUI. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WANGANUI, Saturday, j During the past week-end there has been a very serious shortage of butter, some families having to go without altogether. The position is serious, and is not likely to improve until the new season's supplies are available.
