ST. HELPERS BAY CLUB. i The annual meeting of the St. Heliers Bay Croquet Club was held on Thursday. The annual report stated that the clnb had had a very successful year, the balancesheet showing a surplus of £11. The following officers w*:re ejected:— issident. Mrs. Francis; vioe-r'resideats, Mesdames Scott and Chambers; boa. secretary, Mrs. F. E. Lowe; hon. treasurer, Mr. H. C. Mellsoi>: committee, M«EdiiraeS' Hill and Cracknell and Miss AppteyAri; match committee. Mass Stiwpson and Mesdarxres Mel!: sod and Scott; delegates *o the Auckland centre, Mr. Mellsop aiid the- hon. secretary; representative on board ol control, Mr. sopThe- name of the club vas altered from Tamaki West to St. Helieri Bay. Mrs. Chambers's trophy for A grade was won by Mrs. Malison, "ivith Mrs Keys second. Mrs. Francis's trophies for 3 grade w«re won by Mrs. Lowe and Miss F<-~"-sr. The Hutchinson Pairs competitions were won by Mrs. Land and Kr. Mellsop. Several progressive afternoons and one break competition were held during the Season. Seats were donated by Meedames Bisces and Land, and a set of hoops was presented by Mrs. Meilsop. It was decided to enter two teams for the interclub matches this year.
