(Reed. 5,5 p.m.) NEW YORE July 31. e Mr. Roland Rohlf, a test pilot oi the Curtiss Company, attained a height of 30,700 ft, which it is believed will constitute the official altitude record. The last altitude record reported wa* achieved by Lieutenant Casale r a Frencl iviator, who reached a height of 32,825 ft.
