Monday, The directors of the Wellington Gas Company Have on foot a scheme *for-the erection, of houses for their .employees or 12£ acres of laud at, Miramax. . The company does not desire to make a profit in. the.letting of. the houses. Among other matters to b* placed before the committee of employees is the desirability of building semi-detached houses or groups of botises in a block; interesting pictures of which were shown at the recent Dominion town-planning conference.
