There were also present:— E. Burns, E. C. Browne, J. H. Upton;. T. Peacock, H. W. Hudson, A. G. Graham, M. M. Louisson, A. A. Martiri;-R. •L. Stewart, and J. H. Jackson Merchants having complained of delays in the -handling of goods on the wharves, the suggestion w.\s made 'that the Harbour Board should supply light portable , cranes, or receive cargo, as war done in \ Wellington.
