AUCKLAND AUXILIARY AFFAIRS.
The annual session of tho Auckland auxiliary of the New Zealand Baptist Union was held in the Poneonby Baptist Church yesterday. Mr. F. N. Andrews presided, and then' was a good attendance of delegates.
The annual report referred to the work in the auxiliary's aided causes, Cambridge, Epsom. Morrinsvillo, Mount Albert, Otahuhu, Richmond, Tukapwm, VVaibi, Whangarei, and out-stations. There had been difficulties in some of the country churches through men being away at the war, and other causes, but there were many encouraging signs, An official visit had been made to districts which were bcinc settled, where work would be probably (Oinnieneed thortlv.
The following*officers were elected:— President, the Rev. A. Anstice; vice-presi-dent, Mi. C. >]. Carter; treasurer, Mi. H. I'liinu; nccretaiv, the Rev. Reuben Bailey: auditor. Mi'. Si. H. Matthew..; executive, the Revs. L. B. Busfield, K. Chard, hi. Kvarts, \V. H. Uinton, Messrs. Andrews, Dixon, Eilingham, Oarliok, Hill", MolmoH, Ken don, Kretschmar, North, Ogilvie, Penmen, and Penning, The meeting will be continued ut the Baptist Tabernacle this evening.
