At the Surbiton lawn tennis tournament, in the first round of the singles. F. M. B. Fisher (New Zealand), beat_Donisthorne, 6—l, 6—3. In the second round, Fisher beat Aitken, ex-champion of South Africa, B—6, 4—6, 6—2. In tho third round. G. Patterson (Victoria) boat Fisher, 6—3, B—6. In the final, Patterson beat Roper Barrett, 6—2. 6-3. 6-2.
