THE WEATHER.

FORECAST BY MR. C. L. WRAGGE.

There were no indications yesterday of further wet weather. The heavy rains of Sunday and Monday were followed by fine clear weather since Tuesday forenoon. Tuesday night was very cold, and frost occurred in several districts of the city and suburbs.

The barometer continued to rise until 10 a.m. yesterday when the reading was OOin, at which it remained steady.

The following weather forecast was issued by Mr. Clement L. Wrajge at 8 o'clock last evening The disturbance named " Argon" has passed away into west longitudes and the weather will now bo generally fine over most parts of the Dominion. The barometer is rising steadily as the anti-cyclone from the Tasman Sea is over-lapping the countiy. This probably will mean very cold weather inland, with frosts and morning fogs following the rain. Wind between southeast and south-west. Sea moderate.
