INTER-SECTION PLAY TO-MORROW, The Easter bawling tournament was advanced a further stage on Saturday, when six rounds were completed in the Pairs competition. In this Executive Fours competition section play was concluded, and the final will be pla.yad during the week. Section play in the pairs match will be concluded to-day at the end of the ninth round. There were 18 entries ! for the shield lull rink match (rom all carta . - : of the {.'oidfields, including W&ilii, WaikinO, Karanghake, Paeroa, Te Aroha, and Thames* and tho match was played in three sociionn ' of sis, with the result that A section wan ! won by Paeroa No, 2 team (Taylor). 13 section by Waihi No. 1 (Landy), while C section resulted in a tie between Thaiies No. 1 (Franklin) and Paeroa No. 1 (Clews). These two played off the lis with seven heads on. Saturday, the result being still a lie, with 5 all. Another single head was played, and resulted in Paeroa No. 1 scoring a single. The semi-finals were played on Saturday afternoon between Waihi No. 1 and Paeroa No, i 2, resulting In a win for Paeroa by 13 to ■ 12. The final was then played between Paeroa No. 1 and Paeroa No. 2, the latter winning by 10 points to 8, securing the shield for the ensuing 12 months. The pairs match, for which 24 pairs had entered, was commenced on Saturday afternoon, and is being played in (our section# ol : six pairs efich.
