About 140 soldiers have expressed their. ; intention of attending the vocational j I j classes now being organised at King j ' j George V. Hospital, at Rotorua. A conI j siderable proportion of these men desire j , instruction in subjects connected with I , farming; for instance, 23 wish for teaching j - in the management of animals, 22 in wool- j ; classing, and 12 in dairying. Thirty-four' v men have entered the classes for general i commercial training, and 12 have joined I the class for instruction in motor . engineering. Carpentering, basket-making, I • and other occupations also have classes . devoted to them, and the scope of opera- :'! tions is being enlarged. It is intended to .
