RESULTS OF AIR RAIDS,

[ Three cathedrals, including St. Paul's, were affected by the twenty-five air raids on London. The roof of St."Gorges Cathedral was damaged by an anti-aircraft shell in the raid on September 24, 1917. Southwark Cathedral was struck by au incendiary bomb on December 18, 1917, ana the roof and ceiling were damaged. St Paul's Cathedral was hit by an antiaircraft shell on the night of March 7, 1918 and the roof of the south-west bastion and the stone stairs underneath were damaged.
