The crowd rushed the train at Deirout, pulled the enginedriver off the cab, entered a compartment, and killed two officers. Several of the natives remained on board the train until it arrived at Dorrnoos, where another large crowd armed with ' sticks, stones, and knives attacked the train and killed the remainder of the party.
