FITS OF DEPRESSION. (bt telegraph.— ASSOCIATION.] DTJN|DIN, Sunday. An inquest was held at Palmerston on Saturday into the circumstances connected with the death of William Johnston McAra Ross, who was found dead in bed at the residence of his father, James fvoss, at Bushey Road, with a revolver at his side. The evidence showed that the deceased was a single man 46 years of age, and was strong and healthy until he went to the Boer war, where he had enteric fever. He was also thrown from a horse about 12 years ago, and was unconscious for nine days. _ He complained of feeling weak, and .sometimes suffered from fits of depression. The jury returned a verdict to the. effect that the cause of death ■ was a bullet wound self inflicted while suffering from temporary insanity,
