BUSINESS DONE YESTERDAY. Buyers were again well in evidence yesterday on the Sharemarket. National Banks sold at £6 93 with lute buyers at £6 8s 6d, sellors £6 10s. New Zealands were wanted at £13 lis, no sellers quoting. In insurances a sale was reported in Nationals at 77b, late sellers asking 80s with buyers at 755, New Zealands had sustained demand at £12 13s, sellers holding for £12 19s. South British at £7 15s had steady buyers at £7 10a. In financial linos Loan and Mercantiles had Rollers at £110. In gas, Auckland* iiold at 26s 9d and 275. In miscellaneous lines Auckland Tramways (ordinary) changed hands at 19s 4d. A sale was reported in Auckland Farmers' Cooperatives (B preference) at 20s 6d (ex dividend). Wilsons Cement sold at 14s 10d. In mining lines there was 0 revival of interest. Rising Suns had sale at Is Bd, Talismans at 7s lOd, Waihis at 42s and 41s 9d, Grand Junctions at 12s 3d, and Waiotahis at Bd. The Stock Exchange will bo closed as usual to-day, and also on Monday for tho observance of St. Patrick's Day
