NGARUAWAHIA REGATTA.

Arrangements are now well in hand for the twenty-third annual regatta which is to be held at Ngaruawahia on Monday next. Very satisfactory entries have been received for the Various competitive events, and tho attendance of Maoris is expected to total about 5000. An additional attraction will be the opening of the new Maori Parliament House, The regatta committee has issued a denial to the rumours which, it states, have been ih circulation to the effect that influenza is prevalent ii) Ngaruawahia. The committee states that in making the denial it has the authority of tho local medical practitionor, Dr. D. Martin.
