ST. PATRICK'S DAY.

The celebration of St. Patrick's Day this year promises to compare favourably with those of previous years. The athletic programme for the sports to be held in the Domain to-morrow afternoon is thoroughly comprehensive, and some keen contests are anticipated. Last year the spectacular feature was tho living Harp of Erin, formed by the pupils of the Catholic schools, and this year a similar attraction will be provided by 2000 children, who will form ft huge Celtic cross. Tho celebrations will be continued on Monday, when the annual Irish National Concert will be held in the Town Hall
